Changing colour of coffee table?

Hi,

I have a mahogany coloured coffee table that I want to change to light oak colour if it's possible. Is there anybody that can help me with this?

If the table is made from the timber mahogany then you will not be able to litten it. If it's timber stained then you can re sand the stain off and see what the timber is like under neath. Dependant on the timber you could then wax or danish oil it.
